This sort of Thing..
Honestly, this is one of the things that frosts me the most about a Facebook jailing. It’s not just that you can’t post content, although that’s bad. You aren’t even given the courtesy of communicating with your friends, either on Facebook, or off it. There’s no — “would you like to contact this person via blind email?”
I’m writing an article for American Greatness on the monopoly power of Facebook, but I’m guessing that one regulatory addition that could make social media giants nervous is simply something like this:
❎ No Communication Allowed with Accounts that do not supply contact information.
Why should any platform allow us to establish contacts that can’t be reached outside their platform?
