Okay, now that’s funny..
And this is even better: WALLET returned to ARMED ROBBER! So the story goes… Late last week, one of our local eateries was the victim of an armed robbery. The suspect, Marcel Smith, age 44, of Moreno Valley entered the establishment, placing his wallet on the counter as he produced a handgun and demanded the contents of the cash register. Marcel fled the scene, leaving his wallet behind. Your Moreno Valley deputies worked diligently to find Marcel, but he had moved from his previous address. Much to our surprise, Marcel gave us a hand, calling over the weekend to report his wallet lost. Needless to say, we returned his property to him, and offered him lodging in our county jail, where he is being held without bail for armed robbery and a parole violation.
