Is it just me, or when you consider someone like Barack Obama — a creature of government service all of his adult life, from “professor” of Constitutional law to community organizer to state and federal senate, to President of the United States to $15 million dollar beachfront homeowner — blathering on about how government will make our lives better, shouldn’t we be stopping to ponder an obvious reality: well, of course, if you’re drawing a big fat bureaucratic salary, with benefits and subsidized celebrity, then government solutions look just peachy.
It’s a bit like Stalin’s daughter insisting Communism puts a fantastic meal on the table.
